Application and Setup Fees
This is charged when your account is setup for the first time. SleekPay charges you this amount to install and configure secure payment pages that will work with your website. It is also charged to provide you with an Online Merchant Account.
Transaction Fees
The per transaction fee is the fee charged by SleekPay to process each transaction. This fee is charged on every transaction, regardless of whether or not the transaction is approved or declined.
Monthly Minimum Fee
A monthly minimum fee is not an extra fee but rather a minimum amount that SleekPay needs to have in fees from your account. As long as your total transaction fees meet or exceed this minimum, you are not charged any extra fees. However, if your monthly fees are less than this minimum, then you are charged the difference up to the minimum. For example, if you have Ksh 1,500 in fees in a given month, and your account has a Ksh 2,000 monthly minimum on it, you will be charged an additional Ksh 500 to meet the monthly minimum.
Chargeback Fees
Chargebacks and retrieval fees are related to a customer disputing a transaction that was processed. The merchant who charged the transaction is notified of the dispute via email, telephone, or a combination. Common reasons for a customer disputing a charge are: the customer doesn't recognize the charge, the product or service was not as described, or someone fraudulently used their account to make the purchase. A merchant will have a chance to refute the dispute by providing a written response and documentation. The cost for a chargeback is Ksh 1,000. This is a reasonable fee that SleekPay charges for handling the dispute. As a merchant you should not generally see this fee, unless any of your customers disputes a charge for some reason.
Account Re-activation Fees
This is charged to a merchant who requests his/her SleekPay Merchant Account be revived after a suspension. A suspended account cannot be used to process any payments.
